Lime plaster has been used as both a building and finishing material in interior architecture for millennia. It is host to many benefits including heightened sustainability, durability and unique aesthetic elegance. It is a 'breathable material' - a natural air quality regulator, lime plaster dehumidifies the air when necessary and releases moisture back when too dry. The silk sheet set of wall treatments.
It takes less energy to produce lime plaster than many other types of modern materials and actually sucks carbon dioxide out of the air, actively reducing its own carbon footprint.
Appearance can range dramatically depending on how it is applied. Finishes may lean toward soft and subtle or veer more sculptural in fluted , textured or raked installations. Matte, glossy, textured, smooth or something in between. You decide.
An excellent choice for the eco-conscious and design savvy client.
